MEET OUR STAFF

Lonnie Good
Hi, thank you for taking a little bit of your time to get know a little more about us.
My bride (Teresa) and I feel so blessed with the opportunity to serve in this capacity. We began serving at Cascade Bible Church on the worship team.
After a few years serving as the worship leader I was ordained, and now serve as the Interim Associate Pastor.
My key focus is on the Kingdom Of God, bringing clarity and understanding to this central theme that Christ placed at the top of His priority list. He said, “This Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached in all the world and then the end will come.”
The meaning of “This Gospel,” was made very clear by Jesus, who spoke only what the Father wanted Him to speak. His commands were in fact God’s commands to us in this new relationship (this new covenant) that anyone can have with the Father. His commands were not grievous; rather they were good, just as God is good.
Things like: Avoid Anger, Have right relationships with God and others, Keep your heart from lusting, chose to be faithful, Live out marriage commitments, Show mercy and love to others, etc… These were all teachings that Jesus brought to us. And as the Only Begotten Son of the Father, He spoke on behalf of the Father. Following His teachings is the sign of a genuine belief in Him.
This walk, that we call salvation, is worked out over a lifetime. We begin as babes, but we do grow if, like any babe, we are fed and cared for. If you need a place to come, to be fed and cared for… we are here. Please feel welcome!
If you need any assistance, counsel, or prayer, don’t hesitate to call me. 509 422-1400 You can also text or email. lonnie_good@yahoo.com

I came to CBC in 2015. It has become family. I served as Worship Leader and still fill in for Lonnie when he takes time off.
Throughout my life I’ve been drawn to the mysteries of moving pictures, asking myself, “How do they get it to look like that?”
Because technology in the movie industry is one of my passions, it is an honor and great joy to serve as Peter Steffen’s assistant. Through his expertise I’m learning about special effects through light, camera angles and so much more. Looking through the lens of the camera is not only exciting, it’s fulfilling. I find it to be a beautiful portrayal of life and Christ through media. It’s my dream come true.
I invite you to join us in person and online.
I ask you, “What is your passion, your dream?”
